I have been working in the field of counselling for 8 years and over that time I have developed an interest in the deep healing work that accompanies deep psychological growth, which in turns helps us achieve our best selves.

The self in relation to the cosmos.
Astrology gives us a means to understand the heavens through the movement of the planets in the sky above us. It has fascinated many a mind over the course of human civilization. Astrology can also give you a way of understanding your inner world, the Inner Self and the Unconscious. Through exploration of your natal chart and the placement of the planets in the 12 houses, we gain greater knowledge of your psyche and what makes you tick, which comes in very handy when we look at the healing process.
The Jungian depth therapy approach.
Jungian psychoanalysis is a wide and deep lens through which to view the psyche, the Self, the world. I use this approach, which works very well with astrology, divination, and expressive techniques to look at deeper processes that need attention in order for healing to happen. It is especially a helpful approach for deep wounds such as trauma.
How divination fits in.
There are many beliefs about card reading or rune casting. In my work, I find the cards and the runes provide wisdom in the form of symbolism that speaks about the inner world of a person. It is not about predicting the future, so much as it is a way of understanding the Unconscious and the deeper processes we often do not pay attention to. The synchronicity that occurs in a reading brings greater knowledge to the surface and is invaluable in the healing process.
Other creative approaches.
Creativity is the space where we align with our deepest Self; it is where healing happens; and where life happens. Through journaling, artistic expression, movement, sound, meditation, we learn the language of our Inner Self and we are able to heal the wounds that we carry with us throughout life.
